What CryptoBetGrade actually collects today, why, who it's shared with, and how to exercise your rights over it.
CryptoBetGrade has a real account system: "Log in" / "Sign up" sends a one-time link to your email address (no password) — clicking it creates an account if you don't have one, and signs you in if you do. Logged-in visitors can file a complaint about an operator, which CryptoBetGrade reviews before it's shown publicly. This policy describes what that system actually collects and stores today, not a hypothetical future version. The site's own team also has a separate admin area for editing the curated operator dataset, protected by a password checked in your browser and unrelated to your account.
This policy covers cryptobetgrade.com ("the Site"), an informational site that reviews and tracks publicly available information about crypto sportsbook and casino operators. It does not cover the operators listed on the Site — each has its own privacy practices, linked from their profile page where available.
Anyone browsing the Site without logging in. No analytics tool is currently installed, so we don't collect or store any browsing data about visitors who never log in or submit anything. Section 5 below covers the small number of automatic third-party requests every visitor's browser makes regardless.
Anyone who logs in or signs up. Just your email address, which we use to send a one-time login link (valid 15 minutes, usable once) and to keep you signed in afterwards. Legal basis: performance of a contract with you (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) — you're asking us to give you an account. We don't ask for a name, and we never see or store a password, because there isn't one.
Anyone who files a complaint about an operator. The complaint's title, description, any amount stated, and any follow-up messages you or CryptoBetGrade post in that complaint's thread — all tied to the logged-in account that submitted it. Legal basis: consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) — you're choosing to submit this for publication. A submitted complaint starts in a private "pending review" state visible only to you and CryptoBetGrade's admin, and only becomes publicly visible on the operator's page once reviewed and approved.
Admin users. A small, fixed list of email addresses get admin rights automatically the moment they log in through the same one-time-link system above — no separate password or credential. The site's older curated-data editor is a different, unrelated password gate checked entirely in your browser; that password is never transmitted or stored server-side.
We don't process payments on this Site — any deposit happens on the operator's own site, entirely outside our systems. We don't require an account to browse or search. We don't collect your name, phone number, or any government ID. We do use browser storage — localStorage — but only to remember, on your device alone, that you've dismissed the cookie notice at the bottom of the page and whether you prefer dark or light mode; see Cookies for details.
Even with no backend of our own, loading this Site's pages makes a small number of automatic requests to third parties, each of which may see your IP address as part of that request:
See Cookies for how this relates to cookies specifically.
No analytics provider is in use. If one is added later, it'll be named here along with what it collects.
Login links: valid for 15 minutes and deleted the moment they're used; an unused link simply stops working once it expires. Sessions: your login is remembered for 30 days from the cookie set on your device; logging out deletes that session immediately. Account (email address): kept for as long as your account exists — email privacy@cryptobetgrade.com to have it deleted. Complaints: kept as long as relevant to the operator's public profile, since they form part of that public record, or until you request deletion of a specific complaint.
You can already request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data, object to processing based on legitimate interest, and request a portable copy. Contact privacy@cryptobetgrade.com.
See the dedicated Cookies page for the current, accurate list — short version: one strictly-necessary cookie keeps you logged in, and nothing else. No advertising or tracking cookie is set.
The Site is not directed at anyone under 18. We don't knowingly collect data from minors.
We'll update the date at the top whenever this policy changes materially — for example, if a new subprocessor is added, or the account or complaint system starts collecting something new.
