Most sportsbook complaints show only one operator's decision. This dispute is different because the player said the same live MLB position was placed at BC.GAME and 500 Casino. The resulting treatment diverged sharply.
That makes the case useful for evaluating something traditional sportsbook ratings rarely measure: how an operator treats sharp or value-seeking action after a bet has already been accepted.
The wager: New York Mets +5.5

The complainant described a live wager on New York Mets +5.5 runs against the Washington Nationals. The game finished Mets 6 — Nationals 11, so the +5.5 handicap covered by half a run.
According to the player, BC.GAME initially settled the wager as a winner. He also said he placed the same selection at 500 Casino because the maximum available stake at BC.GAME was not large enough for the full position he wanted.
BC.GAME: accepted, settled, then voided
The player alleged that the BC.GAME wager remained settled for roughly five days before being voided. The important part is that BC.GAME later responded publicly rather than leaving the reason unexplained.
BC.GAME’s public explanation
The operator also pointed to identical wagers being placed across different casinos and cited sportsbook rules allowing action against certain repeated, suspicious or unfair betting patterns. In related public discussion, BC.GAME also stated that both BC.GAME and 500 Casino were using BETBY and that the restriction had been detected late, after betting activity had already taken place across the provider's network.
500 Casino: the comparison bet stayed paid
The player's account of the 500 Casino side is what turns an ordinary voided-bet complaint into a particularly useful case study. He said the same Mets +5.5 bet, placed at the same time and at the same odds, remained settled as a win at 500 Casino.
The complainant further said he contacted 500 Casino afterwards to ask whether anything had been wrong with the wager. According to his account, the operator did not reverse the win.

Accepted → settled → later voided. Public reasoning referenced unfavourable odds and identical cross-book betting activity.
500 Casino
Accepted → settled → remained paid. The same reported position was not retrospectively removed.
This does not prove that every future value bettor will receive the same treatment at either brand. It does show why operator-level policy matters even when the underlying sportsbook technology is shared.
Was this actually arbitrage?
Based on the publicly described betting pattern, placing the same side of the same market at several sportsbooks is not traditional arbitrage by itself. What was described here is closer to value betting, line shopping or scaling the same position across multiple books. A provider may still classify the wider behaviour as risk-worthy, but that is a different concept from a textbook arbitrage position.
The complaint did not end against BC.GAME
There is an important fact that prevents this article from being framed as a simple accusation of theft: AskGamblers ultimately marked the complaint as resolved in BC.GAME's favor. After reviewing information supplied during the dispute, the complaint platform concluded that the operator had acted within its Terms and Conditions.
That outcome should be preserved in any fair summary. CryptoBetGrade therefore does not classify this as a proven confiscation scam.

500 Casino reportedly handled the same sharp-looking position differently and left the win intact.
The BETBY angle
This case also fits a broader pattern in CryptoBetGrade's provider research. BC.GAME publicly stated that both operators used BETBY as their sportsbook supplier and that provider-level monitoring could identify betting activity across supported sites.
That does not mean BETBY itself made every final account decision. In fact, 500 Casino later publicly explained that suspected abuse cases can involve both the provider and the operator: either side may raise a pattern, while 500 Casino handles KYC checks or restrictions.

For recreational ratings, both sportsbooks might simply be described as established crypto operators. For a value bettor, however, the difference above is material. Limiting a player for future bets and retrospectively voiding an already settled wager are not the same risk.
